"A feast for the senses, the sounds, sights and smells of Hermaness are full of drama."
Hermaness National Nature Reserve on Unst is renowned in Shetland as the land of the Bonxies (Great Skuas). Many other species such as gannets, guillemots, razorbills and puffins also nest in the enormously steep cliffs. Inland, many other species nest among the heather and moorland, as well as seeing some beautiful flowering plants. Hermaness is also part of Shetland’s National Scenic Area.
